Washakie County Public Health is a state/county agency with the mission "to protect and enhance the health and well-being of all citizens." We do this by offering nursing services in clinic settings, to individuals, families or groups. Services are available to all citizens of Washakie County regardless of race, national origin, age, religion, color, sex, disability, or ability to pay.
Primary Goals Of Public Health Are To:
*Promote healthy behaviors
*Prevent the spread of disease
*Inform and educate people about health issues
*Help people find the services they need
*Work with others in the community to identify and solve health concerns
Public Health Services Include:
· Immunizations
· Communicable Disease Screening
· Ryan White Case Management
· LT 101 Screening
· Maternal Child Health Home Visiting
· Car Seat Inspection
· Medicaid Application for Pregnant Women
· Drop-In Services for Blood Pressure or Other Health Concerns
· Emergency Preparedness
· Public Information and Education
· Family Planning*

The Public Health/Ambulance Complex was completed in April, 2002.
